Having joined Take My Lead in 2013, Matt has been a full time professional dog walker for over 7 years and holds a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Training.

In addition he is trained in canine first aid and holds DBS (CRB) clearance and the relevant insurance.

Established in 2010, we have worked in the community for over a decade and pride ourselves on the personal service we provide our customers. Our knowledge and experience means we can offer a professional and tailored service to you and your dog.

Our Trainer

My name is Rebecca and for as long as I can remember, I have always had dogs in my life and have enjoyed the warmth and companionship you get from owning a balanced and happy dog.

Having spent most of my career training people and turned my attention to training dogs AND people. In 2010 I completed a foundation degree in Canine Behaviour and Training.

I set up Take My Lead shortly after and have loved meeting people and their dogs and watching the relationships develop between them.

I worked with a number of rescues, including Dog's Trust as a Training and Behaviour Advisor. I've personally assessed approximately 6000 dogs (and counting!)

We only use positive reinforcement methods, which help to maintain a loving and trusting relationship between you and your pet.

We are all qualified in Canine First Aid and are fully insured.

You can be sure your dog is in safe hands!
